So if you read the last post, you would've found out about my problem at the airport, which completely turned my whole day upside down. Luckily, the next day we managed to book another flight and I'm now back home, in Spain. I wanted to write this post to explain that some of the smallest and simplest things in life can make us the happiest. I've been away from my normal life for a month, and being back, I couldn't be happier.
I arrived in Spain at around 6pm last night, so I didn't have the entire day to do stuff, but I was so excited to get back into my routine. For example, when we stepped foot into our house, I think I spent less than 10 minutes there before I left to go to the gym. Just being there, doing my thing and getting back into my routine felt so good, and it benefits be in so many other ways. I'm not jacked at all, I've pretty much just started my muscle building journey, which I'll be documenting along the way. I want to be giving tips to you guys as I learn myself, so people in the same situation as me can follow along with my story.
Anyway, back to the story. Once I finished at the gym, I was feeling really pumped and positive. I'd came to the gym on my skateboard, so I packed up and headed to the skatepark. There wasn't many people there, but the ones who knew me were surprised that I was back, and we began to catch up and it felt so good to be doing my thing again. This is why I decided to write this post, because it cost absolutely no money for me to walk to the skatepark and start skating. I was having so much fun and I didn't have to sacrifice anything to be there. After about 2 hours, I went home and jumped in the pool, another simple activity which didn't cost me anything.
Now most of you might not have a gym membership, a pool, or you might not skate, but I'm sure that there is something out there that is so easy to acquire yet it makes you so happy. It could be music, running, walking, seeing your family and friends, watching T.V shows anything else! So the next time you do something that didn't cost you a lot of time or money to do, appreciate it, and cherish it.
So many people in this world have dreams of becoming rich, or having loads of women in their arms, and thinking that that's the only thing that will make them happy, but it doesn't have to be that way. Don't get me wrong, those dreams can stay, that's what this blog is about, helping people chase their dreams. But some of the simplest things can have the biggest impacts on our lives, don't forget that.
So for today's homework, I want you to write down 3 FREE things that you're grateful for, you can keep them to yourself, or comment them down below! Don't forget to let me know what you thought of this post, and if you have any ideas for the next one.
